1-10V Control Grid Dimmers from VARILIGHT

Varilight's grid dimmer switch offer continues to grow with the addition of F-series dimmers for high frequency ballasts or LED drivers requiring 1-10V control.

Each dimmer is designed to work with one or multiple ballasts / drivers up to 20mA. The mains switch is rated at 6A.

In the Varilight PowerGrid range these dimmers are available in white (GFP1M1W) and black plastic (GFP1M1B) as well as brushed steel (GFP1M1S) and polished chrome (GFP1M1C) decorative finishes.

A multi-grid option in white (GFP1M1W.MG) is also available which is compatible with MK, GET and Crabtree grid systems.

In addition to grid variants, F-series 1-10V control dimmers are also available across all the Varilight finishes. In the classic white plastic range the part code is FQP1M1W.

PowerGrid - New from VARILIGHT

We are pleased to announce the forthcoming launch in January 2009 of VARILIGHT^® PowerGrid^TM.

PowerGrid will be a major new addition to the VARILIGHT Dimension range of electrical accessories, available in brushed steel, polished chrome and premium white. At launch there will be 42 new PowerGrid modules 24 grid faceplates across the three finishes enabling the end-user to create countless combinations to produce tailor-made wiring accessories for specific projects.

Dimension PowerGrid will employs mini fixing screws but will complement the existing range of Dimension Screwless sockets and DataGrid accessories to create one hugely expanded range assortment.

PowerGrid switch modules will be available as 10AX 2-way and 20AX with 2-way and 1-way configurations, single and double pole. Standard switches, including some incorporating neons are complemented by intermediate switches, key switches, 2-way and off retractive switches, 13A fuse holders, 16A flex outlets and green, amber and red neon indicator modules, blanking modules and both 250W and 400W multi-purpose 2-way dimmer modules.

Four different grid substrates will be offered for 1- or 2-gang on a single-sized faceplate and 3- or 4- gang on a double-sized faceplate.

In addition, "mega-gang" options will be available using two or three of the 3- or 4-gang substrates with new, larger 6-, 8-, 9- and 12-gang faceplates.
